The timber in the main structure has a thickness of 28mm and the slats a thickness of 18mm. The marine grade stainless steel bolts are 8mm. The painted finish on these chairs is weatherproof. An exterior 2 Pac polyurethane is applied to each piece of timber prior to assembly. This paint is designed for outdoor use and will easily cope with full exposure to sun and rain.
